Worle in the World

Before ascending back to heaven Jesus gave his disciples what we might call their 'marching orders'. "You shall be my witnesses," he told them "in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8).

A pebble dropped into a pond ripples out in ever-increasing circles. Their mission was to make Jesus known locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. The same still holds true today. The mission of Worle Baptist Church begins in Worle, but it has a regional, national and international reach and dimension to it.
